Sass & Cecile’s Version of the Cozy Coupe Christmas Tree Shoot

We were stumbling through pinterest, as we do, when we came across these amazing shots:  https://www.pinterest.com/pin/224265256419165509/

And it just so happened that my husband had gotten Cecile  the classic toy, Cozy Coupe for her 1st birthday in October, and I knew immediately that it was going to be our next easy photo project.

I had a color scheme in my head of reds and greens and Christmas colors, so I spray painted the yellow top of our Cozy Coupe silver instead of yellow.  It was so easy, I have a feeling this will be the first of many Cozy Coupe iterations (next up, a cup cake or sesame street car?)

Next up was getting a tree that was an appropriate size.  You may already have one, but I found mine at Big Lots for $16 bucks. I’m a little Christmas-crazy so another tree to decorate is never a problem for me. For the extra touch of holiday cheer, I fashioned a wreath to the front of her whip, made out of rolled up Dollar Tree garland with a red bow attached.

After getting my car ready, the most perfect thing happened.  SNOW IN THE FORECAST FOR THE VERY NEXT DAY!

So we put Charlotte in her Wintery red best, set the cozy coupe in the front yard surrounded by spruce trees and waited on the weather.  I may have jumped the gun a bit by taking pics before we got a good coat of snow on the ground, but I didn’t want to have her out in the cold too long.   Here is the initial finished project, but we may try again now that there’s more snow on the ground and it isn’t nap time!
